my dell inspiron 5110 turns off while I am playing games even after few minute of playing. What may be the reason?
I have a dell inspiron 5110 with 4gb of ram 1 gb nvidia 525 gt gpu but it still gets heated a lot and turns off. I play nfs the run and it turns off just after 4 to 5 mins. Windows installed in now about a year should I refresh it or there is some other problem.

Hi heart_4u32
Welcome to the Dell community. An air blower might have too much force and it might damage internal components. I recommend using a can of compressed air to clean dust.
Glad to assist you

Start by checking to see if the heatsink has dust on it -- even a thin layer will insulate it and cause the system to overheat.

Hi heart_4u32
Welcome to the Dell community. You can try the following steps and check if the problem is fixed
• Use the system on a flat surface so that the air vents can breathe easily
• Clean and dust off the air vents
• Update the system BIOS from this link : http://dell.to/L9FhQY
Please revert with observations

From where I can get this... Is there any specific name under which it is sold in the market. Because I have not heard about it before.

If you're in the Uk, this comes recommended as it does the job and is dirt cheap. Similar items elsewhere (Amazon.com etc.) are much more expensive.

Btw, you should take care to not place the "straw" too close to components/the case, as the air can ?freeze/condense and therefor form ice/water inside your sytem, something you obviously want to avoid.
