my latitude D510 not recognize hdd
Hallo
i bought second hand alaptop altitude D510 without HDD
i bought a new one 40 GB HDD when i conected to laptop its not recognize.
the massage is Primary hard disk drive 0 not found
no bootable divices--strike F1 to retry boot, F2 for setup utility
please help me thanks

Make sure you installed the blade adapter on the back of the drive - if it's not there, the drive will not connect to the system board.
It's the small black piece in the photo here:
