one Bright White spot on my LAPTOP screen.
Hi,
I have Dell Insprion i5 intel core i5-3210M CPU @ 2.50GHz . i have buy this laptop in december 2012.
yesterday i noticed one Bright White spot on my LAPTOP screen. I shut down LAPTOP and cleaned the screen and restarted the LAPTOP(As specified in Technical Support page), but still the problem persists.
This white spot appears 20-30 minutes after restarting the LAPTOP and
then remains till i shutdown the LAPTOP.

You may run a test on the LCD of your computer. You may watch the detailed steps and how to run LCD built in self test from link: http://dell.to/R6XKBV. Check if you get the same bright pixel during the built in self test.
A display with 1 bright sub-pixel is considered normal and within industry standards. For more information on this, you can refer to link: http://dell.to/XcmeJU
