"Latitude ON" on Latitude E4300

Hi.

Has anybody been able to successfully configured the "Evolution" mail client to connect with MS Exchange 2003?

I entered https://mail.mycompany.com, and click 'Authenticate', but it won't authenticate.  I've tried various forms in "Username" as well.

I've tried just "mail.mycompany.com" name as well (thinking it stuffs "https://"), but this didn't help either.

If I switch to the browser and type in the above URL, I am able to get into OWA just fine.

Calling Dell tech support was not helpful at all.

Thanks...

Hi,

I am having the same issues however upon some research, similiar issues were happening with this specific version of Evolution.

Version 2.12.3

People have advised that they were able to connect to their OWA URL when they had upgraded to 2.28.

I had tried this out by using a bootable Linux OS with the latest Evolution 2.28 and was able to validate the OWA URL without any trouble.

I have contacted support however was not able to address this issue with the current version and I am unable to find a way to update Latitude ON's Evolution.

I am hoping there will be a patch shortly which updates Evolution especially Evolution's Exchange connector.
