xps 1530 worth waiting 6 weeks for ???

i would wait six weeks, but thats a real long time.... i wonder if its the lack of batterys causing it...

 

I'm in the UK and from calling the sales guys and haggling for a lower cost it took 3 days to be delivered.

 

 

I love mine, I waited about the same amout of time.

 

It really chaps my hide that they have all these sales on this machine and don't have all the parts in stock for it!

 

 

i ordered mine on the 9th and it says it will be delivered by the end of the month.

now after reading your post it sounds like it might be a longer wait.:smileysad:

as you say,lets hope its worth waiting for.

i really have no problem going with another vendor i just can,t come close to the deal from dell.  i guess its wait and hope for early shipping.

I ordered xps 1530 on Monday with delivery date of 8/7. Reason given was 9-cell battery shortage due to a fire at one of the battery factories (that doesn't sound very reassuring). They could have offerred 6-cells now and shipped 9-cells when available.
