z/os Migrator
We are planning on installing z/OS Migrator which is free, does this requir any other EMC software running with it to use it.
What I can remember for example: TIMEFINDER, SRDF, SCF.

Yes.
SCF must be active. Autoswap must be enabled with CSC. Look for message SCFS226I Autoswap has initialized with Cross System Communication before starting zOS MIgrator.
