Continuously on save power mode

My computer went into “Save Power Mode” and now it won’t come out. I’ve tried turning the screen off and on again. But instead of powering on, it immediately goes to “Save Power mode”. The key board and the mouse do nothing either. Is there another way to fix this?

Hi Maelird,

Thanks for posting.  Apologies that your system is not performing as you expected.

Please post your model number so we may give a more specific answer to your question.

Here is some general information you may find helpful:

Change sleep settings or create/modify a power plan in Windows 10

Dell monitor/computer stuck in power save mode

If you still require assistance and the system is under warranty, you may contact me privately. Be sure to include your personal information (name, address, telephone, email) and your computer's service tag number in your message. Thanks.

If there is no warranty, then you could contact our Out of Warranty team to get a quote for a paid service request.

The monitor is what is saying power save mode.

The PC is DEAD and not turning on or showing any video.

Always include exact PC model and version of Windows in your posts.

Did you check that the power cord didn't come out of the back of the PC or from the outlet?

If you're using a power strip or surge protector, disconnect those and connect PC directly to a known-working outlet.

EDIT: Robert types faster than I do.
