Dell G5 5000 graphics upgrade
I have a dell G5 5000 and I had heard of people having trouble upgrading graphics cards, I'm not much of a pc builder person so I was just wondering if there was a graphics card better than the 1650 super I have now that is just at the boundary that itll work for my pc. I have an i-5 10400F CPU and 16 gb of ram

Users have run various gpu higher than 1650S in G5 5000. including 1660S, 1660ti, rtx2000 or 3000 series. All depends on your budget and need.

yea im probably going to wait till its all over, would a 1650 fit?

I have an RTX 3060ti in my G5 5000 series. It has an i7-10700F processor and 16GB RAM. I bought it in March 2021 and was delivered in May.

Hello all
Because before the GPU upgrade I was in the situation of not finding any testimonials, here is mine.
I upgraded my G5 5000 with 500W Dell PSU and Intel 10700F processor and 64GB RAM from the original GTX 1660Ti to a RTX 3060Ti (ASUS V2 Dual Mini). This works great even under full load. No power issues. Just disable Safe Mode in the bios after installation.

HI all, I've just removed a 1650 super from my G5 in favour of a 3070. So far after a week of use the 500 watt PSU is keeping up with the i7 and 3070.
