Dell motherboard GDG8Y, Ivy Bridge support?

I have a computer with an 0GDG8Y Motherboard I'm trying to resurrect into something useful for a friend.  From what I can tell this motherboard only supported Sandy Bridge processors, but I've seen mixed information on whether it eventually was able to support Ivy Bridge with the latest bios update, and very little information that's newer than 2015. Did this particular motherboard ever get Ivy Bridge support with the latest Bios update (Dell patch notes aren't overly helpful)?

What exact make/model did it come from?

Doesn't it have a processor already installed in it?
