Inspiron 23 AIO, power button flashing

My Inspiron 23 AIO, doesn’t turn on? Power button is flashing in amber color 3 times then 2. I can hear fan working. Nothing else is happening. Anyone has any idea, what’s wrong and how to fix it?

Could you please post the exact model of 23 AIO please? The light pattern suggests 2 problems. 3 flashes is a chipset or time of day clock test failure, among other things. And 2 flashes is no memory detected. Try removing the CMOS battery (coin cell) and leave it out of the system for 15 minutes (Intel recommends 30). Then instead of reinserting the old battery, install a new battery. If that does not help, try reseating the memory.

Exactly which Inspiron 23 AIO?  There are several different models, such as 2305, 2310, etc.  Always include your exact model on any initial problem post.

General Inspiron codes:

2 flashes is no memory detected

3 flashes Motherboard chipset error, CMOS error, etc.

Suggest resetting the CMOS memory by removing the CR2032 backup battery (with the PC powered off) for at least 10 minutes.  During the 10 minute wait, reseat (unplug and plug back in) the memory module(s).  Power on and see if fixes it or if the symptoms change.
