Inspiron 24-5477, HDMI-in, Microsoft Surface, no go
Hi,
I just bought a Inspiron 24-5477 and I am trying to connect my Microsoft Surface to the HDMI-in. Surface detect another monitor but I cannot see any change on the 5477. Can someone tell me what I have and how to do? Still a mystery for me.

There are two HDMI ports on the rear/back. The HDMI in port has a circle + arrow icon by it. Is that the port you are using? If yes, you then press the bottom right Video Input Source select button, page 13.
