Inspiron 3650, Dock D6000, connection?

Hi.

Wondering if I can get a definitive answer to this.

Can I connect an Inspiron 3650 desktop...

... to a Dell Universal Dock - D6000?

The Inspiron 3650 does not have a USB-C port, just two USB 3.0 ports and the Dock has the option of USB-C connection or a standard USB 3.0 connection.

But I'm wondering if this kind of dock is only compatible with laptops? Or can it also work with desktops?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
