Inspiron 3670, freezing, #5
I am having the same problem, and your recommended fix is not working. For me it seems like the disk drive locks up or something, cause I'll just be using the computer and all of a sudden it just locks for a quick second and then comes back. And sometimes overnight it will freeze completely, and when I try using it when I first wake up in the morning, it's frozen and I have to perform a hard shutdown by holding the power button.
Any suggestions?

Well some people think it is a motherboard, other a bios problem. Dell wanted me to pay for software support to fix this freezing problem. The idea of throwing away money to fix a brand new computer bothered me. So my solution was simple. I exchanged the Inspiron 3670 for a Lenovo 720 which has been running as smooth as silk. I still have my Inspiron 3650 that crashed from this freezing. If Dell ever finds a fix for this problem, then I would like to get my 3650 working again. It is only a couple years old.
