Inspiron 3847, GTX 1050 TI, usage

Never had a video card until this new one. I got a GTX 1050 TI. I put DVI, HDMI into my new video card but I get a blank screen. And don’t know how to disable the integrated graphics card in bios? Please help.

JonGaming,

You can boot your computer into safe mode by starting the computer and tapping F8 , choose Safe Mode. Once in Windows right click the start button and choose Device Manager. Once you are in Device Manager you can choose Display Adapters. Right click on the listed display ( intel integrated graphics accelerator) and select DISABLE. Do not select uninstall as this may cause further problems.
Shut down the system and add your discrete video card and plug in your monitor. Turn the system on and install the drivers for the new card.
