Inspiron 5675, GPU upgrade, Titan, 1080 Ti, 1080 SLI?

Check your PSU (power supply unit) label. If your mid level Inspiron 5675 Desktop only has a 460w PSU (power supply unit), you cannot run either video card =
Titan V minimum PSU requirement is 600w
GTX 1080 minimum PSU requirement is 550w
GTX 1080 SLI minimum PSU requirement is 750w

With the addition of the Corsair 850w PSU, it is possible, but of course not tested/validated by Dell. Understand that the motherboard PCIe x16 slots are ONLY running at PCIe x8 Gen3 speeds.

Slot 1 = PCIe x16, full length running at PCIe x8 Gen3 speed
Slot 2 = PCIe x1, Gen3 speed
Slot 3 = PCIe x1, Gen2 speed
Slot 4 = PCIe x16, full length running at PCIe x8 Gen3 speed

Not sure what kind of performance limitation you will get running those cards at x8. We only tested/validated up to the OEM GTX 1060 =
2FNM3 Nvidia GTX 1060, 6GB, PCIe 3.0, 150w, DVI-D/DP1.3/DP1.3/DP1.3/HDMI2.0

For my notes, what specific Corsair PSU did you install? Did you have any issues installing it?

Hello Chris, I also have a 5675 and I would like to upgrade the GPU to a NVIDIA GTX 1070. In the NVIDIA website it says that power requirement is 150W with a recommended power system of 500W. Does this mean that in the 5675 which is 460W is possible to install it? also could you please advise on the Slot size? i.e 2, 3 or 4 slot and general compatibility with the motherboard AMD X370? Many thanks.
