Inspiron 620 not turning on
When I push the power button on my Inspiron 620, nothing happens. The green light on the back of the computer above the power cord connection is on and there is an amber light on, on the mother board. I have looked thru the threads and have not found a solution.

could be bad psu despite the green light, or could be bad motherboard despite the orange light.
try clear cmos settings by jumper reset on motherboard and replace cmos battery with a new one first.
if no change then test motherboard using a working 24/4 pin psu.

Amber LED on the motherboard indicates that 5VSB power is working not that the power supply is ok.
Commonly called Flea Power indicator.
Green LED on the power supply indicates that AC 120v/240v is available not that the power supply is OK.
