Mounting hard drive to front of Inspiron 3671

I want to move the Seagate barracuda hard drive that came with my Inspiron 3671 to the inside front of the case, and put my old hard drive on the bottom, it can only fit there because it’s a 3.5. The new hard drive models apparently changed where the mounting screws are placed, and the drive will not mount on the front. Because of the new screw position I can’t seem to figure out how to mount the newer drive on the front.

Do I need a mounting bracket?  If so, where can I find one?

The front of the case is ONLY for 2.5 inch drives.

Find answers in the service manual--

Both the 2.5 and 3.5 drives are covered.

The service manual doesn’t say anything about the new hard drives having a different mounting pattern, or any kind of bracket I can get in order to mount it.

Yes, I’m trying to put the 2.5” drive in the front. But the mounting holes don’t lineup. I’m asking if there’s a bracket or anything I can get to adapt it to fit there.

My understanding is that there is a special bracket for it. Try asking Dell to provide the "missing" bracket, as it might not be included.
