Speaker ports in Dell Inspirion 3891
Dear Dell Support,
This is actually not a new topic. Another poster's question was never answered by Dell Cares (?). I have two speakers and no idea how to install them. The previous poster said he /she had to resort to plugging the speaker(s) in the front of the CPU? How weird is that? Please let me know which ports to use. I have two speakers, but looking at the back of the CPU, there is only one. And, only one in the front. Please respond to this inquiry.

I can't answer without knowing exactly what speakers you have.
Most computer speakers (have their own power supply and amplifier) such as stereo (2 speakers) or 2.1 speakers (2 speakers and 1 bass speaker) only have one connection (a 3.5mm stereo plug) that plugs into the Green speaker jack on a PC.
There are also speakers that are USB powered, etc.
So we need to know what you have in order to provide guidance.
