Dell Inpiron 1525 não reconhece HD

I have a Dell (Express service code ) notebook and it showed problem, it suddenly stopped working and it no longer recognizes the HD. 

Contacting Dell, I was informed that the warranty was over. I would like information on what the problem might be and what action I should take.
