3 beeps screen wont light up

I have a dell inspiron n5110. The right hand side hinge that holds the screen on is broken. the other day i turned on the laptop and stuggled to get the hinge back in place. The laptop suddenly turned off. When i restarted it, the indicator lights on the top next to the keyboard lit up as usual but it gave 3 beeps and the screen didnt light up. Things i have tried: Taking the memory stick out and cleaning it Taking out the battery and the little round battery inside and holding the start button down for 30 seconds. No luck. I think something burned out. Any suggestions? I think this may be the problem as in this video. He had the same problem and fixed it. I dont have the tools to do this https://youtu.be/ARWX_WhOkiE

Try replacing the coin cell battery (little round battery) with a new one. You can buy it anywhere for ~$2. Manual has directions. Get the same battery as the one you took out. Worth a try. 3 beeps mean several things and the worst one is a failed motherboard. That means if that is the problem, you should buy a new computer.
