Adding 2TB SSD keeping HDD to Inspiron 17 7773 2-in-1
Hello,
Can I add a 2TB SSD and keep the original 2TB HDD on the Inspiron 2-in-1 17" 7773?
If so any recommendations please?
My system is out of warranty and I have no luck in getting response from the Dell Support.
Thanks.

You can add an M.2 2280 SSD to the system, but it must be SATA -- any capacity that will physically fit the system will work, though.
Open the chassis to make sure the mounting hardware required is present -- it likely won't be if the system was ordered with only a hard drive installed.
This model will not take NVMe drives.

Thanks friend. Can you please tell me what is the maximum SSD it can take? For example, 1, 2 or 4 TB? Any specific brand?
Thanks again.

I just installed a M.2 2280 SSD into a Lenovo N22.
The only thing that is really needed to keep the SSD secure is the screw.
The screw that fits is a M2 x 4mm It is sold at HomeDepot. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt-M2-0-4-x-4-mm-Phillips-Flat-Head-Stainless-Steel-Machine-Screw-2-Pack-843438/204852270

Hello Sir, please clarify what capacity (1,2 or 4 TB) SSD - M.2 2280 SATA should I purchase and any specific brand or speed? What capacity is compatible with the Inspiron 17 7773 2-in-1?
Also, please answer if I can add SSD and still keep the regular Hard Drive?
Thanks
