BIOS and Compatible SSD for Dell Inspiron 5547

Hi. I found an old discussion regarding compatibility of any 2.5" SATA SSD with Dell Inspiron 5547.

However, what about the BIOS? The manual does not have any reference to SSD. I tried to find support to SSD in the BIOS and could not find any.

So, the major question remains. Is this model compatible with SSD? How am I going to adjust BIOS to recognize it?
