Bios downgrade by using USB stick:

Another option is to use the flash option in the BIOS (but that didn't work for me!)

Flashing the BIOS from the F12 One-Time Boot Menu

This thread helped me to downgrade from 1.2.5 to 1.1.8!

If you are using windows you have also to disable firmware updates in the BIOS, otherwise windows will update the BIOS automatic to 1.2.5 again!

Go to BIOS setup -> security -> UEFI capsule firmware updates -> disable it will block this.

No I was not facing the same problem, but I'm always struggling with fan noise/overheating so I wanted to try an other BIOS version to see if it changes anything (It did a little bit...)

I updated the BIOS manually to 1.2.5. After various attempts I was able to downgrade it to 1.1.8
Keep trying with different USB sticks (FAT32) and don't forget to switch off the automatic firmware in the BIOS.

Sorry for @ing you. I've downgraded it. Thank you. To anyone who may have any issues with the solution stated, try using another USB port.
