Do you have any idea if this issue is related in any way to the Power Limit Throttling that this 7567 experiences and if that BIOS update will resolve that issue too?

They took 1.4.0. offline for a while and left 1.2.0 available. Now they have 1.4.0 listed again with a new date.
It would be nice for everyone, and especially the folks which already have 1.4 install to know if this version is actually different.
This is not the only driver where Dell states the driver was updated as of some date but release earlier. Perhaps if they use the word "Reviewed" if the driver had not been modified it would be more clear.
Of course, if the driver had been modified then it should not show the same version.

I went to Bios 1.1.0 and now I don't have shutdown anymore. Got some soundproblems instead, don't know if it is related to the bios tho. Getting some cracking and popping sounds now and then.

Thanks for that. Did you downgrade from 1.2.0 or 1.4.0 and if so how did you do it? I tried to go from 1.4.0 to 1.2.0 and 1.4.0 to 1.1.0 and it was blocked by the system.

I didn't have that problem. I just downgraded by installing the bios. My first reply (page 1) I posted a link to another topic on this forum. I think there is explained how you can go from 1.4 to a lower bios number :). It is pretty messy but more to the end of that forum post you can find it I think

1.4.0 was there the other day - it has disappeared!
Does this mean they are actually working on a new one?
