To get this information you need to log on to support, enter your model number and most importantly Enter your Service Tag Number.
That will open all the hardware information on your Particular notebook, You should download and read your Service Manual there you will find out how to open your notebook and verify what slots you actually have available, the manual should also tell you what SSD is compatible in each slot
I am using the same laptop inspiration 5559, its too slow, it's same even if I update my windows or not, I tried everything that is possible regarding software, customer care says there are no hardware issues and all, so what should I do,? So that my laptop doesn't lag?
Occasionaly your charging port might get confused and will not detect your charger properly and lock your processor speed to 1.8GHz or 2.4GHz check on it. Secondly I am using same, I installed 8/16 GB or Ram and 512GB SSD 2.5 Inch. It's super fast now.
