DVD ROM frequently makes clicking sound
I've dell inspiron 15 3576 brand new laptop..after fewdays i bought, i noticed a clicking sound from dvd rom freequently..did full hardware scan and it was fine...dell support system detects nothing tho... DVDs working fine..that sound is annoying..please i need a help

Is the sound there even if a DVD is not in the drive? I ask because the hard drive is located on the same side, assuming you have an HDD and not an SSD. The Optical drive may make a noise when the DVD is running at speed but not usually a clicking sound. The system is under warranty so if the noise is that loud I would suggest calling Dell tech support so the can assist you correcting the problem.

Sadly it wasn't from dvd rom...mine was from hard disk..so i returned my laptop
