Hi, I bought this laptop with nvme+hdd configuration. Now I want to upgrade my Sata HDD to Sata SSD but somehow It will sometimes shown on BIOS (sometimes wont) and always not showing in Windows Disk Management. It always work when HDD is installed though (both in BIOS and Windows). Is there any fix for this?
I have a 256GB Crucial MX100 SATA unit along side my 512GB nVMe SSD without issue, make sure you are on the latest bios. If that doesn’t help than there may be some issue either with the SSD or some sort of compatibility issue. Also make sure drive settings in bios is set to AHCI and not Raid On.
I'm on latest 1.4.2 BIOS and set my SATA to AHCI already.. it still sometimes detected on BIOS. but then it disappear. I can use my SSD with external caddy with no problems..
I just tried restore to factory BIOS but still the same.
I'm want to use my Transcend SSD. The weirdest part is, it shows up (detected) on BIOS sometimes and disappear the other times (none detected in SATA). It seriously weird considering it's fine with normal harddisk.

I would also suggest updating the SSD firmware. This might help.
Cheers.
