Dell G3 3579 - M2 SSD Upgrade

Hi all,

I am wanting to know if a particular M2 SSD is compatible with my Dell G3 3579 Gaming Laptop.

I have a Samsung Evo Plus 970 1TB M2 SSD that i’d like to install into the laptop but I wanted to know if it will work ok.

I previously had an HP Envy x360 convertible 2-in-1 laptop and after changing the drive, it caused the laptop to not recognise it being plugged in anymore and also the CPU speed to drop to only 0.40GHz, I didn’t want the same to happen to my Dell as I love the machine and would hate for anything to happen to it.
