Dell Inspiron 15 3567 Matching RAM upgrade
I Have a Dell Inspiron 15 3567 laptop and I was thinking of a RAM upgrade for it...
Then I heard there will be speed-performance issue if I install multiple RAM of different specifications...
I have a 4GB RAM and I wants to install an extra 8GB RAM.
My laptop has 2 RAM slots and I don't know if the above installation would work as one of the RAMs have 4Gigs size and the other one has 8Gigs size (different spec).
This is my CPU-Z result:
Edit: The above screen shot is not being shown publicly. Therefor I've uploaded the same screenshot into another place and it's link is given below. Please take a look at it:

could somebody please tell me which RAM should I buy ??? (Please suggest me with matching 4GB RAM and 8GB RAM so that if I want a total of 12 GB, I could buy the 8GB you suggested and if I want total 8GB, I could go for the 4gb one you suggested...)
Do I have to install RAM from the same manufacturer ? If so, how do I find out the current manufacturer without opening my laptop ?
Do I have to make any changes in the settings after RAM installation, for making it work properly ?

Welcome to the Dell Community @Jishnu Raj
Sorry but 4GB + 8GB cannot be matching pairs.
4GB + 4GB and 8GB + 8GB are matching pairs.

The graphic in your post doesn't show up for us. Only you can see it. It is best to match the 2 ram chips in speed and manufacturer but you can have 4gb + 8gb although that is not the best choice. Are you sure you have only 4 gb? The standard was 8 gb -- 2 chips of 4 each. One of the slots might be hidden. Check your service manual.
If you find you already have 8gb ram, that should be enough for everyday computing. Save the expense of upgrading.
Stick to Dell--match the chips you already have- or Crucial for ram upgrades of both chips.

Could you please tell me how to make that picture publicly visible ?
I've edited my question and added an external link to the same screenshot picture.
By the word "speed", do you mean the DDR4 thing ?
Or is it the frequency ? Well, Task Manager shows a speed property for the RAM tab and it's value is 2400MHz.
Task Manager also says Slots used: 1 of 2.
CPU-Z doesn't show me any kind of "speed" property...
I got a look at this product on Amazon: Crucial 4GB DDR4-2400 SODIMM CT4G4SFS824A
is it good for me ?
Thanks a lot for investing your valuable time for helping me solve this issue...

If you can see that pic, please tell me whether Crucial 4GB DDR4-2400 SODIMM CT4G4SFS824A is a good choice for my laptop, for using along with the current ram (As a dual channel).
Also, is there any way for finding the RAM manufacturer name without taking RAM out of my laptop ?

My friend have one 4Gig RAM and one 8Gig RAM in his laptop. He says that everything is working fine, so yours should also work fine. His each RAM wouldn't be working on dual channel I think
