Dell Inspiron 7000 Corei5 7th Gen-7560 Laptop - Install SSD

From this link I came to know that I can install SSD into my Dell Inspiron 7000 Corei5 7th Gen-7560 Laptop

I am using Dell Inspiron 7000 Core i5 7th Gen - 7560 Laptop, which didn't have SSD by default. But when I search I get to know that I can buy and install SSD separately.

But I am not sure which model can be suited to my laptop. As per the above given discussion I found it will support One M.2 drive (SATA).

When I search for the same (512 GB version) I found these results.

Can anyone confirm any of the above model work with my laptop. If none, could you please advice some model that I can purchase and install.

Thanks,

Sooraj.

First off download your Service manual for your model and service tag number.

That should tell you what type M.2 SSD and Length. You will at a minimum will need an M3 x2 Screw to install it. The Service manual should tell you all that and how to disassemble to install it.and what adapter if any you may need.

Thid would be a great M.2 SSD https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-500GB-SATA-Internal-MZ-N6E500BW/dp/B078218TWQ/ref=sr_1_3?crid=3OC6TA13X0GT1&keywords=samsung+m.2+sata+ssd&qid=1559766768&s=gateway&sprefix=Samsung+m.2+SATA+SSD%2Caps%2C147&sr=8-3

But the manual is incorrect, the M2 connector keying doesn't match.

I know because i've bought a SATA SSD and it doesn't fit.

Question:  Did you buy an M.2 SATA, or an mSATA?  They're not interchangeable and only the former will work in a 7560.

To get this information you need to log on to support, enter your model number, and most importantly Enter your Service Tag Number.

That will open all the hardware information on your Particular notebook, You should download and read your Service Manual there you will find out how to open your notebook

You now have your notebook open so what type SSD does it take? the upgrade storage section will tell you whether it takes an MSATA or  M.2 NVME or M.2 SATA or either Some Dell notebooks either NVME or SATA M.2 SSD will fit and configure.
