Dell Inspiron 7391 2-in-1 Goodix fingerprint driver for linux

I recently bought a 7391, its amazing, I love it.

After looking online I found out the linux drivers for the goodix fingerprint sensor are missing. I created a post on the goodix forum as well. If there is anything I can do to help move this process along let me know.
