Dell Update turns off Wi-Fi

Hello, every time a dell update occurs on the bottom right hand of my screen. I click update, then my wifi on my laptop shuts off (Only my laptop everything else works using the wifi). I have to restart my computer to fix it. Since troubleshoot and manually turning my wifi back on through the network settings does not work, it just turns it off again.

Hi, Pondaw,

I had the same problem these days. What I did is the following:

1) Restart the laptop to re-activate the wifi

2) Start the Dell Update app

3) Install the updates (select automatic restart if needed)

The wifi got disabled again BUT the updates seemed to be installed, and there was the message "computer restarting in 15 minutes" I clicked on restart (no need to wait 15 minutes).

I guess the next few days will tell if this worked as it seems.
