Desktop Icons Transfer
Desktop Icons Transfer
I have 12 desktop icons that I want to transfer to an external drive. When I do the transfer, only 6 icons get transferred.
Why is that?

@Jerry8A You may have a mixture of icons in your own user profile’s Desktop folder and the All Users/Public Desktop folder.

desktop icons are shortcuts to programs residing on the hard drive or to files you have on the hard drive
