Inspiron 15 w/windows 10 won't go to gull screen when opening home page

Dell Inspiron 15 laptop. 

      Everything goes OK when I boot up and then when I hit the e for edge to go to my home page (Cox), it doen't open to a full page. There are no double arrow drags and it does go full if I hit F11 but in order to get out, I go to the top and again no full page but I do have the x to get out. this never happened before.
