Inspiron 3467 randomly gets 2 amber and 4 white blinking lights.

I find it kind of odd, that there would be random situations wherein after turning it off I will get 2 amber and 4 white blinks and sometimes it just works fine. I have to leave the laptop with the battery removed for an hour or so or else it won't turn back on (the only solution that I think that works). Just recently, I have received an update for the BIOS thinking that it might fix the problem, and lo and behold, the laptop won't turn on after restarting. I have to wait for an entire day to wake it up. Sometimes, I just don't turn it off, because I don't want my work to be interrupted. Is there a fix for this or should I just have to live with it.

That indicates a battery problem or a bad adapter. Today's batteries can weaken or fail in only 18-24 months. Check your battery. If you are still in the first year of warranty, Dell will replace the battery. See this:

Try plugging in the adapter before starting the computer instead of removing the battery. Your model can even start without the battery in case you want to skip the battery replacement. Here's the listing for battery replacement-- https://accessories.ap.dell.com/sna/PfydFeaturedCategoryResults.aspx?c=th&l=en&s=bsd&cs=thbsd1&mfgpid=6131414&chassisid=-1&stype=2&Tab=Parts
