Inspiron 7786, no bootable devices found
Hi, recently my Inspiron 7786 blue screened and upon reboot came up showing with "no bootable devices found" on the Dell support screen.
I've tried several solutions and the one here https://www.dell.com/community/Laptops-General-Read-Only/Dell-Inspiron-13-No-bootable-device-found/m-p/5140389 from Getro seems most likely to work, but when I try the first step it just sends me an error message. Followed the later comments to do the through diagnostic and it comes out with no errors, so what gives?
I really don't want to have to just format the computer because I don't have any backups and I only bought it a couple months ago. Thanks
Gaju

@AnnoraBorealis
Try to correct the Windows Boot Manager entry in the UEFI boot order table.
Click OK on the completed screen for the Add Boot options, then exit.

Yes.
https://www.wavesys.com/support/cannot-boot-windows-bootable-device-not-found-error-after-initializing-drive-dell-e6x30-syst
Dell E6x30 systems, UEFI Bios mode, Windows 8.0 or 8.1
That is why I ask for the OS you are running?

This Best Buy purchased Inspiron 7786 shipped from Dell with the following drive =
1TB 5400 rpm 2.5" SATA HDD
* Inspiron 7786 is off
* Connect the AC power adapter to the Inspiron 7786
* Power on and press F12 (one time boot menu)
- What drives are listed?
* Restart the Inspiron 7786 and press F2 to enter the BIOS
* Go to Device information. Look for SATA-0 and SATA-1. Is the 1TB SATA HDD listed?

I did this and when I reboot support assist runs scan to detect hardware problems and completes w/no issues, no bootable devices found, possible causes corrupt OS image or boot device not enabled. Details as follow: Inspiron 7786; ePSA: Build 4306.29 UEFI ROM; System BIOS: 1.5.0. OS Windows 10. Help?
