Inspiron G5 15 5590, has black USB 2.0 ports?
Hello, I have a refurbished G5 5590, and it only runs at 2.0 usb speed. Everywhere I look, this model is supposed to have three USB 3.1 port. Anything I can do or I'm stuck with 2.0 ? I never would have thought that you could refurbish a USB port to an earlier version.

Kindly check if all the USB controller drivers are up to date on your machine. Make sure that all the drivers are updated on the system, please install the latest driver either by using the SupportAssist application or from http://support.dell.com/ (Drivers and Downloads) and see if it solves the issue for you.
The online Inspiron G5 15 5590 specifications PDF shows three blue USB 3.1 ports.

The company that sold it to me via Best Buy told me they don't do any modification to the hardware when refurbishing. So, this mean it's possible for a G5 5590 to have 3 black USB 2.0 ports? I can't find a picture of this model without the blue USB ports. Anyone at Dell can confirm this?

My service tag is not in Dell's system so I can't use that link. In supportassist all my drivers are up to date.
