Keyboard Backlight Control Inspiron 7567
How do I change the back light timeout on my Inspiron 7567? I remember doing it a while ago with Dell Quickset by launching it from a program on my C drive but I can no longer find the program. How do I change the back light timeout now? Thank you for the help.

I figured out how to fix it!
On 64 bit system, open the filter explorer and navigate to here: C:\Program Files\Dell\QuickSet and run the file "BacklitKB.exe" a box similar or the same as the one shown below will pop up, and from here you can change the keyboard backlight timeout. Yay for it working!

I think I remember seeing that in the Bios options. I will look tomorrow if you can't find it.

I don't see anything to change the duration the backlight stays on. Mine seems to remain on around 35 seconds then dims to off.
I suppose the duration time may have some dependence on battery levels, but I haven't seen that stated in the manual.

Good find. I don't run the QuickSet utility...
