Laptop freezes on screensaver startup after loading

I own a dell inspiron 14-7000, and since yesterday it has an issue of freezing on screensaver during startup. It doesnt show the password field no matter how many times i click the mouse or press any keys on keyboard, though the cursor is still visible and the brightness and volume can still be toggled by keyboard. When i left click on mouse, it just makes the windows notification sound. Network button and shutdown button are also not displayed on screen. I tried closing the laptop lid for 3 hours to restart but nothing. I restarted it 3 times now, but nothing. I tried pressing F12 on loading but it brings me to the BIOS recovery settings. I selected Recover BIOS option and it shut down. I turned it on again and still the same, freezes on startup screensaver.

What should I do? Please help!
