Memory stick 1rx16 or 1rx8
Hi i am looking to upgrade my memory. I opened my inspiron 3576 and I found one memory stick with 4gb 1rx16. Tryied to found excatly the same but it's hard to find. Only i found is 1rx8 sticks, can i harm my laptop with another stick but 1rx8 and what's the difference?

On 3576 maximum memory is 12gb? Can i upgrade my memory with another stick 4gb and 1rx8?

The Max memory that you can have in the system is 12GB. If you have 4 gb you can add an 8 gb stick.

Hey I have the same RAM in my Vostro 3568.
I am thinking of adding another ram stick, but 1rx16 are very costly & rare. I will be going for 1rx8.
Kindly update me regarding what ram did you buy, and how it works? Dual channel works?
