Questions about Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming 's motherboard

I bought this laptop like a year ago, and I'm planning to upgrade it. I'm trying to find out what DDR4 memory stick is it compatible with. I don't really know how many pin my laptop support, but I think its 260-pin. I want to find out if I'm actually correct. 260-pin or 288-pin, or does it support both?

Edit:

Support for Inspiron 15 Gaming 7567, What is DIMM, SODIMM, and UDIMM. Can they be mixed together? And Questions for the M.2 NVMe SSD, does m.2 sata ssd disable my HDD sata 6g/s? or do I have to use m.2 NVMe ssd? (new to these stuff)

Memory:  www.crucial.com (guaranteed compatibility).

Memory types should match - not be mixed.

What you can use for an SSD depends on the exact model -- the 7559 is different from the 7567, etc.  You'll need to post the exact system model for someone to advise you.  In some cases you can use an M.2 side by side with a hard drive;  in others, it depends on the battery size.

If you type in your service tag at the support web site, it will give you all the specs for your laptop. But that would be 260 pin DDR 4 memory and the link below is the Crucial memory site for your memory upgrades. Just be sure to get the same speed as your current memory such as 2400, 2666 etc. Support site can help you with that with your system specs. If you want a matched set you can also buy a memory kit which is 2 sticks of memory.

So is my computer compatible with Samsung 970 Pro NVMe M.2? If I install it, will it interfere with my SATA hard drive?

8GB or 16GB memory stick, 2.4Ghz or 3.0Ghz (if possible)

Would these two items be compatible?

As far as RAM is concerned DDR4 2400 is the speed compatible with your system. If you install DDR4 3000 there is no point since it will run as 2400 and it is more expensive than 2400. Also you can run a maximum of 32 GB (2x 16 GB) of RAM.

The M.2 NVME/PCIe SSD will not interfere with your SATA drive in any way. However Dell systems are picky about using the 970. Some systems work fine with the 970 and others do not work at all. You can search the forums and see a number of posts regarding the 970 compatibility. There are a number of quality SSDs on the market that perform equally well such as Corsair, WD, Adata, Crucial, etc.
