Realtek USB Memory Card Reader Driver installation failed
I tried to install this driver on my Inspiron 14 3467. It was failed and gave me this following error log file. I've tried installing the older version the result was the same.
It seems that Dell has given wrong driver. This is not my first time doing clean install in this laptop and such problem never occured to me before.

Any reason why the need to install the driver?

Reinstall the Intel chipset drivers first, reboot the computer and then reinstall the card reader drivers.

Thank you for answering. How to reinstall the chipset driver? The chipset driver is not listed in Apps & features settings.

Click the link that I included in the reply choose drivers, select chipset from the list. Choose the Intel Chipset Device Software Driver follow the instructions for installation that is listed.
