Storage and RAM upgrade inspiron 15 5577

Hi 

I have an Inspiron 15 5577 with 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD. I'm looking for the following configuration:

16GB RAM; 256 GB SSD + 1TB HDD Is this upgrade(+ 8GB RAM + 1TB HDD)supported?

Yes, you can perform both those upgrades. Note that the SSD has to be a M.2 NVMe drive as the laptop only contains one internal 2.5" bay. Hi.

I have a similar setup. I am curious if I could upgrade from 16GB Ram to 32 GB and upgrade the storage to accommodate a Linux Window on different storage devices.

Stock setup was Windows 10. I have run Linux only as well. Currently, I have Windows / Ubuntu dual boot.
