SupportAssist Failure Dell G5 5590

I have an issue with dell support assist software. unable to perform functions for Detect PC, Drivers Scan or Diagnostics on recent Support Assist installs or unable to install due to catalog\lost internet connection message. Customer service agents asked me to uninstall it and reinstall it, And I have done it many times, and still, the problem persists and unable to click the options on the support assist also. (which really irritates me as I pay Dell for premium service to fix this kind of problem).

You'll need a third party uninstaller that is much more powerful than windows. I'd suggest using the Free version of Revo Installer. This will delete all the leftover Support Assist registry. Please watch video in link below for additional information that might be helpful to you:

I am sorry to know Revo Installer did not resolve Support Assist problem.

If Dell Update and Dell Support Assist OS Recovery applications are installed on the computer, I suggest uninstalling both of them, and then uninstall Support Assist application again.

Reinstall all three, hopefully Support Assist works normally now. You can reinstall Dell Update and Dell Support Assist OS Recovery applications from the link below:

If the above steps don't fix the Support Assist problem, I suggest reinstalling windows 10.
