Water damage behind the cooling fans?

Dell g1551 rtx 3050 ti, ryzen edition. Behind the cooling fans. Laptop charges, keyboard lights up but screen does not come on and neither do the fans. I assume these spots are corrosion damage from liquid? Do I need to replace the whole thing?

Update: the fans run for a moment once I power the laptop on, but the display is still black.

If the system was exposed to water, you should:

1.  Leave it unplugged and with the battery disconnected from the system board until it's completely drive.

2.  Clean everything that was exposed to water with 91% isopropyl alcohol and let it dry completely.

Then try powering up.

If the system does not POST at all, and has only a black screen, and was exposed to water, at minimum you need a system board replacement.  It's entirely possible the memory modules or drive(s) were damaged as well, but any repair attempt starts with a replacement system board.
