Your Dell Technical Updates

I just received a pair of firmware Technical Updates. They both cover issues that I've never encountered or seen any reference to them. I would prefer not to install them without a good reason.  Does anyone have thought counter to this.

I agree, unless you are having an issue then leave it alone. The updates are suggestions but are not a required update in many cases. My 5575 is running great and I have no need to do an update unless I have a problem that the update specifically addresses. And that goes double for BIOS updates.  A good example is the video update for my Vega 8 GPU. The newest Dell driver was a January 2019 update if I remember correctly. I had nothing but blue screens and errors. I went back to the November 2018 driver at the Microsoft Update Catalogue site (a great site for drivers of all types) and the system is rock solid stable again. The old if it ain't broke axiom applies well here.

Thanks. That makes that a standard for me going forward.
