Welcome to the Dell Community @MTalhaBaloch
Over charging of any battery can cause damage.
But your laptop comes with a "SMART" power system to help prevent over charging.
Your system communicates through the center pin of your AC to regulate charge and discharge of the battery.

Yes, Overcharging does damage the battery.
But, every laptop comes with a solution to not charge the battery beyond a certain limit.
So your laptop battery is going to be safe.

Your very welcome @MTalhaBaloch
I think your BIOS has this option???
Primary Battery Charge Configuration:
Set the primary battery charge settings with a preselected custom charge start and stop.
Most people use 20% and 80%.
This way it will not charge to 100%
It will help extend the battery life time.
If you need more running time on battery increase it to maybe 85% or 90%
