stickey keys inspiration

I Bought a DELL Inspiration 15 5000 around October 2019. I have had problems with the fan coming on for long periods. I did a BIOS download but it hasn't solved the issue.. and in the last few week, the keyboard has started to stick. When typing certain letters i get a repeat of the same letter,  ttttttttt or ssssssssssss very frustrating and even more so when typing in passwords. What could be causing this? the laptop has been sitting on my desk since i bought it, i haven't split anything on it, and i most certainly don't eat food over it..
