Hi,
FYI, upgrades of the various IDPA models are normally done by Dell Remote Proactive Service (RPS).
This is because IDPA is a complex Integrated Appliance with many components and upgrades can be tricky.
All customers may not be aware of the very important point that- *customers should never upgrade individual components on their own without Dell approval under special circumstances. This includes: esxi, vCenter, Avamar, Data Domain, acm etc. Doing so can cause serious issues and put the system out of Support compliance.
When an IDPA upgrade is needed, simply create a Support ticket for the request and our Support team will create a request to the RPS team for you. Then they will contact you to discuss details, such as scheduling and preparation needed. They will upgrade the IDPA as a whole to the latest available version (as of today 2.7.2).
I hope this answers your request.
thanks
