End of Life Announcement: EMC Isilon IQ Performance Accelerator-X and EMC Isilon IQ Backup Accelerator
End of Life (EOL) Announcement for the EMC Isilon IQ Performance Accelerator-x and EMC Isilon IQ Backup Accelerator

EMC announces the end-of-life date for the EMC® Isilon® IQ Performance Accelerator-x and EMC Isilon IQ Backup Accelerator as of October 1, 2013. Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from EMC Customer Services until October 31, 2018. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates. Table 2 lists the product affected by this announcement.
The above-mentioned products are being replaced by EMC Isilon A100 Performance Accelerator (Model# A100-PERF-256) and EMC Isilon A100 Backup Accelerator (Model# A100-BACKUP).
Please contact your EMC sales representative for more information regarding the end-of-life announcement.

PRODUCT MIGRATION OPTIONS
- The recommended replacement for the IQ Performance Accelerator-x is the A100 Performance Accelerator (Model# A100-PERF-256), and for the IQ Backup Accelerator is the A100 Backup Accelerator (Model# A100-BACKUP)
Note: A100 Accelerators are supported with EMC Isilon OneFS® 7.0.2.1 or later. If the cluster is not running OneFS 7.0.2.1 or later then the cluster must be upgraded to OneFS 7.0.2.1 or later for A100 Accelerators to function. For more details, please refer to “Supportability and Compatibility Guide”.
